Since July 2008 I have been working as a software developer (for linguistic tools) at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen (Netherlands). My main task is to develop a web-based graphical user interface which is flexible enough to display rich multimodal ressources (audio, video, text) with detailed annotations in any language. Another important task is the development of an interface to bridge several existing language archiving and annotation tools.

From 2006 to mid-2008, I worked as an e-learning
developer at the University of Nottingham (UK). My main task was to design, develop, implement and evaluate a web-based multimodal interactive language learning platform for all the 14 foreign languages offered at the university (European languages, Arabic, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese).

From 2003 to early 2007 I did a Ph.D. in the field of Intelligent Computer-Assisted
Language Learning. Throughout my Ph.D. I developed innovative server-side and client-side software components. Please see section "Ph.D. details" for more information about my Ph.D. research.
